Cycling in Montafon & Brandnertal: From leisurely rides to action-packed mountain bike trails

A total of 110 km of official mountain bike trails: mountain bike tours of all difficulty levels and altitudes invite you to discover nature and the landscape, master thrilling trails, put your body through its paces, or simply enjoy the scenery. Alpine farmland and chalets provide opportunities for rest and rejuvenation.

Kristberg

Do you prefer a leisurely ride or a sporting challenge? The 8 mountain bike routes on the Kristberg and in Silbertal provide both leisure cyclists and sports fans with an ideal environment. The gentle route along the Wild Ried into Silbertal, which can even be started with the mountain lift, is extremely popular among leisure cyclists. The "Wasserstubenrunde" or "Seenrunde" routes over Bartholomäberg are recommended for occasional cyclists.

Competitive riders will prefer the M1 to M3 routes and will know and feel what they have achieved in the evening. There are 12 stop-off points along the recommended routes: from cozy inns to rustic chalets and alpine pastures, you can experience culinary diversity, gourmet delights, and a change of scenery.

Silvretta Montafon

There are hundreds of kilometers of cycling, mountain biking, and e-bike trails to conquer in Silvretta Montafon: from leisurely rides for casual cyclists to cool lines in the Hochjoch Trail Park and even tours with carrying sections for mountain bike enthusiasts.

Trailpark Hochjoch
For those who prefer to explore the mountains on their bikes, the Hochjoch Trail Park opened last summer. Starting from the Kapellrestaurant, the trails lead through the forest to the Kropfen middle station. With three different lines spanning 500 meters of elevation and almost seven kilometers in total, ranging from easy to moderate difficulty, the park guarantees fun for the whole family!
