Cycling in Montafon & Brandnertal: From leisurely rides to action-packed mountain bike trails


A total of 110 km of official mountain bike trails: mountain bike tours of all difficulty levels and altitudes invite you to discover nature and the landscape, master thrilling trails, put your body through its paces, or simply enjoy the scenery. Alpine farmland and chalets provide opportunities for rest and rejuvenation.

Be it full speed ahead on a mountain bike along freeride & downhill routes, or down the fun sports track on a mountain cart or monster roller – in the Brandnertal bike park, everyone gets their money's worth. Something for downhill run fans: four freeride and downhill routes spanning over 8 km with countless berms, jumps, and wooden elements for bikers of all abilities. Perfect for freeriders! Do you prefer a leisurely ride or a sporting challenge? The 8 mountain bike routes on the Kristberg and in Silbertal provide both leisure cyclists and sports fans with an ideal environment. The gentle route along the Wild Ried into Silbertal, which can even be started with the mountain lift, is extremely popular among leisure cyclists. The "Wasserstubenrunde" or "Seenrunde" routes over Bartholomäberg are recommended for occasional cyclists.

Competitive riders will prefer the M1 to M3 routes and will know and feel what they have achieved in the evening. There are 12 stop-off points along the recommended routes: from cozy inns to rustic chalets and alpine pastures, you can experience culinary diversity, gourmet delights, and a change of scenery.

Hundreds of kilometers of biking, mountain biking, and e-biking routes are waiting to be discovered in Montafon: from gentle excursions for leisure riders to tours with sections where bikes must be carried for mountain bike enthusiasts.

Bike practice area - Adults and children can improve their cycling skills in the bike practice area at the Hochjoch cableway mountain station. Test your skills on steep curves, ramps, and small jumps! When you're ready, a beginners' flow trail from Kapell to Kropfen awaits you. The Intersport rental store ensures that you have the right equipment and provides mountain bikes and fully-suspension bikes in various sizes.
